Form 11 and creation of figures for the self-assessment income tax return  

 One Half Day Session

 

Genesis of Programme 

This programme is designed for those who are self-employed looking to complete their tax returns to ROS. The programme provides a basic knowledge of Excel, sufficient to keep basic books, and take the information created by the spreadsheets and filling out the form 11 form. 

Programme objective 

  • To provide knowledge of how figures for tax returns are created using Microsoft Excel. 
  • To show participants how to use the Revenue app, and fill in the form 11 (please note due to restriction around confidentiality we have to use the OFFLINE app) the App on ROS is better. 

This programme will only demonstrate how to do this, it will not give individuals the opportunity to create their own returns in the training room

Please note.

This programme is best delivered to those who have use laptops, and have a basic proficiency in using computers, participants, we recommend Microsoft Excel for the follow up examples sent after the course (other spreadsheet software is not guaranteed to work properly) 

The programme will provide two spreadsheets one with the working information used in the sessions, and a blank template for delegates to use themselves.
